About Bautype

Bautype is a versatile game that combines the art of creating letters with artistic concepts to teach creative thinking not only to the little ones, but to everyone at home.

This game encourages knowledge of the letters of the alphabet through free construction of each letter. For this, 54 wooden pieces with geometric shapes are used, which can be fitted together or overlapped to design the typography offered as an example, or another new typography made to your liking.

Each letter in this game corresponds to an artistic card that relates the letter to a concept, a painter, a style, or a well-known work of art. In this way, questions and challenges are posed that can be answered through a new creation using the pieces, drawing, reflecting, or debating the idea in question.

Bautype uses primary colors and is inspired by the Bauhaus school, considered the cradle of design and integration of all arts.

Children from 4 years old who are learning the alphabet can play, older children to introduce them to the artistic world, and even young people and adults to activate their creative thinking.

Who are the creators of Bautype?

This game is a creation of randomers, a creative lab with a lot of art and passion for what they do. They design and manufacture Bautype artisanally in their workshop and use ecological paints and materials from local suppliers.
