In therapeutic uses

Both Bautype and other games that you can find in Bauplay are perfect to reinforce spatial orientation and constructional praxis.

These games test and teach the relationship of the player's body to space. They help to calculate distance and space through the different measurements of shapes and their possible placement.

Bautype, for example, is a game that can be used in the therapeutic field, through graduation of level and adaptation by the therapist, which can propose different challenges, such as visually discriminating the pieces needed to copy a design, either from the sample card or from a design created with the game pieces themselves.

Therapeutic potential

Bauplay's proposals demonstrate great therapeutic potential in children who show difficulties in concentrating or maintaining focus, such as in ADD/ADHD.

Being a manipulative material, it offers both tactile and visual references, basic for construction and creation skills.

Its bright colours, together with its original shapes, allow you to create from a novel place that keeps boredom at bay.

A fair challenge

The size of the pieces of the Bautype game, for example, means that it can be used both by children who have great skill with their hands and by those who have some difficulty with fine motor skills.

It is a fair challenge for a large number of children, as it aims to be a very inclusive game.

Construction on the plane with the pieces will also require control of impulsivity, while stimulating their fine motor control.
